Welcome Home!

The worst thing you’ve ever done is not bigger than your assignment from God. You’re still here for a reason — because God isn’t done with you.

Let that sink in for a second.
You… Are… Still… Here…

That means something.
In fact, it means everything!

If you were truly finished — if your purpose had expired — you wouldn’t be reading these words. You’d be a memory. But you’re not. You’re alive, even if you feel half-dead inside. And that breath in your lungs is proof that Heaven still has a blueprint for your life. God’s not finished writing your story; you just paused at a rough chapter.

Maybe you’ve been hopelessly addicted to drugs for decades.
Maybe you don’t need a drug to feel crippled — maybe your anxiety and depression have pinned you to the bed for days.
Maybe your wife left you for your best friend.
Maybe your body has been at war with itself through chronic illness.
Maybe your addiction isn’t to a substance, but to a toxic person.
Maybe your life looks fine from the outside, but something in your soul still feels hollow and heavy.

Different struggles.
Same answer.

“But seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you.”
(Matthew 6:33)

Every pain, every craving, every failure, every heartbreak — it all points you toward one truth: You were created for God, and your heart will never be at rest until it’s aligned with Him.

The Kingdom Principle: You Have an Assignment

When you step into recovery, you’re not just “getting clean.” You’re stepping back into your Kingdom identity. You’re reclaiming your divine assignment.

Every son and daughter of God is sent to Earth with purpose — a mission embedded into your spiritual DNA before you ever took your first breath. At the same time, you have an enemy’s whose job is to make you forget that. If he can convince you that your worst mistakes have disqualified you, he wins.

But the truth is, your sin can’t cancel your assignment.
Your relapse can’t revoke your royalty.
Your shame can’t strip your crown.

“For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance.”
(Romans 11:29)

That means God doesn’t change His mind about you. He’s not pacing Heaven wondering if you’re worth saving — He already decided you were worthy before the foundation of the world.

Let Your Mess Become Your Message

If you’ve fallen — OK. That means you have something to stand up from.
If you’ve been broken — perfect. That means God can rebuild you into something stronger.
Every scar is a story, and every story can set another captive free.

Let your mess become your message. Let the same pain that nearly killed you become the platform you preach from. You don’t need to be a theologian or a saint — just be honest. Authenticity is the new anointing. When people see the light of Christ shining through your cracks, they’ll know that healing is possible for them too.

You Don’t Have to Do It Alone.

There is no shame in reaching out for help. There’s only tragedy in suffering silently. The devil loves isolation — because he knows that separation from God and others keeps you in chains.

No one worth keeping in your life will ever be mad at you for seeking help. If they are, they’re not part of your next chapter. Surround yourself with those who speak life, not death — those who see your potential, not your past.

Here, in our Christ centered community, we believe connection is the key to arresting addiction. We don’t just treat symptoms; we invite you home. We believe the Holy Spirit is not a supplement to recovery — He is recovery. Because as you come closer to Christ, you come closer to the best version of yourself: the one you were designed to be.

To be clear — we have great respect for traditional recovery methods and follow many of those same principles. We just know that the real cornerstone of recovery is a person’s faith. From there, everything else that is added should line up with the Holy Spirit, but can look different from person to person.

What we do here isn’t science — it’s soul work.
We co-labor with God to help you:

a) Arrest the conditions that are hindering you.
b) Discover your divine purpose.
c) Fulfill your Kingdom assignment.
d) Find joy again.

Each person’s plan is unique and dynamic, just like their story. Through mentorship, faith, and the guidance of the Holy Spirit, we help you move from your lowest point to your highest self — as quickly, safely, and joyfully as possible.

And yes — joyfully. Because when you walk with Jesus, even the hard days carry purpose and a smile.

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you — plans to give you hope and a future.”
(Jeremiah 29:11)

I’ve seen men rise from the ashes of addiction and walk as kings.
Men who were once hopelessly lost now lead others to freedom.
Men who couldn’t stop itching and shaking now lay steady hands on the broken and pray them into wholeness.

I speak from experience — I never thought I could go a day without a drug or drink, much less not want one. I believed I’d always crave the feeling of an opioid in my system. But today, the thought of using is so foreign to me I can barely recall the craving. That’s not willpower — that’s the Holy Spirit. I couldn’t do that without a miracle.

And it’s waiting for you too.

When you fully surrender and turn to God, you set your feet on the righteous path. Surround yourself with people who reflect the life you want — counselors, pastors, peers, mentors. Grow along spiritual lines. Deny the version of yourself that died, and embrace the one who’s being reborn.

One day you’ll look in the mirror and whisper, “I never thought it was possible to be this happy.” And in that moment, everything — the pain, the loss, the shame — will make perfect sense. Everything happened as it did so you could be where you are, knowing what you do. And if that’s what it took to know Christ, it’s a small price to pay.

Welcome Home

Life is a chronic condition — we’re never fully “cured” until we’re reunited with our Creator. But we can live in healing every day through Him. At Light of Grace, we get the privilege of seeing it firsthand. Good people rising up. Souls being restored. Kingdom assignments being rediscovered.

If you stay the course, five years from now you’ll wake up happier than you’ve ever been — not because life got easy, but because you finally found your purpose.

The Holy Spirit is waiting for you to tap in and turn on. Buckle up. It’s a wild ride — and the best one you’ll ever take.

Welcome home.
